Our Privacy Commitment
CalendarIQ is built with privacy as a core principle. We believe your date lookups and calculations are your business alone.
Data Collection
We collect minimal data for site analytics only.
- No registration or login required
- No personal information collected
- No date query content tracked
- Anonymous page views collected via analytics (see below)
Local Storage
CalendarIQ uses your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) to store your recent lookups and preferences. This data:
- Never leaves your device - stored only in your browser
- Can be cleared anytime - use your browser's clear data function
- Automatically expires - after 30 days of inactivity
- Is optional - you can disable it in settings
Third-Party Services
To understand how our site is used and improve our service, we use privacy-focused analytics:
- Ahrefs Web Analytics - Collects anonymous page view data including pages visited, referrer information, and basic device/browser information. No cookies are used. Data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users.
- Vercel Analytics - Collects anonymous performance metrics such as page load times to help us optimize site speed. No personal information or cookies are used.
Important: Neither analytics service tracks the content of your date queries or calculations. All calculations happen entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers or any third party.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change our privacy practices, we will update this page and change the "Last Updated" date above. Given our commitment to zero data collection, we don't anticipate major changes.
