Questions people ask
What counts as a business day?
Monday to Friday, minus public holidays. You can change the weekend (for example Friday–Saturday, used in several Middle Eastern countries) and choose which country's public holidays to skip.
Are the start and end dates included?
In "count between" mode both dates are included by default, which is how most leave and project calculations work. Untick the option to exclude the start date (useful for "within 10 business days of" deadlines).
Which holidays are removed?
The official public holidays of the country you choose, including substitute (observed) days where the country moves a weekend holiday to a weekday. Regional or state-only holidays are not included; the holidays page lists what is covered and links the official sources.
How is "add business days" counted?
Starting the day after your start date, each weekday that is not a holiday counts as one. So 1 business day after a Friday is the following Monday.
